Dominic DeFelice is a lifelong resident of Belmont County, Ohio, having been born and raised in Shadyside. He and his wife, Amy, were also proud to raise their own son, Dante in their home county.

After being laid off from a Belmont County factory job over four decades ago, Dominic decided to go into business for himself. He and his brother founded DeFelice Bros. Pizza in 1982. Over the last 44 years, Dom has grown the company to include ten franchises in both Ohio and West Virginia. Through the business, Dom has not only created thousands of jobs in the Ohio Valley, he has also helped dozens of entrepreneurs start businesses of their own.

In addition to building a small business that is headquartered in his hometown, Dom has spent the better part of his adult life giving back to the community through various roles. He has served on the Shadyside School Board, overseeing various improvement projects, as well as handling personnel issues. Dom has also served on the Belmont County Health Board for the last three years. During that time, he has assisted the board in balancing the budget, developing a cohesive work force and securing a new facility through a joint effort with the current county commissioners.

Dom has also spent the past 43 years giving back to the local American Heart Association chapter, a cause of which he is deeply passionate. As well as serving on the Heart Ball Committee for several years, DeFelice also spearheads an annual fundraiser through his company to raise funds for the organization.
